Eating out in London

Now London is a great city and there is probably more restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, cinemas, and other thing then anyplace else in the world. It has something for everyone. That being said, there isn't much to do in London.

Liz and I wanted to go out someplace and get dinner. Now both of us weren't really hungry but we figured that once we got to the restaurant and by the time we ordered, we were going to be hungry. We also didn't care what we wanted. This proves a major problem in London because there are many areas of London that have one type of food. We wanted an area that had basically everything so we could look at all the menus and decided what we wanted when we saw it. Plus we didn't want to deal with bohemians tonight(last time we went to dinner in the docklands, we had to deal with the two boringest people who were obviously bohemian and they basically sucked the soul outta of us). We also wanted a place that had a cinema and a bar. We kept on trying to figure out a place but we couldn't unless Leicester square and neither of us wanted to go to that place.

There are a few places north of London that do have basically everything but they cost a fair amount more then we wanted to spend. No more then 30 pounds for the both of us.

After sitting in the car for like 20 minutes deciding where to go, we choose to drive towards the city and see if anything came up. We came across a few places on the drive and we ended up at this Turkish restaurant near mile end and had a delightful time. Turned out the cousin of one of the waiters lived in Bethesda(the place where I grew up).

Anyway, in conclusion, Stratford needs more restaurants and places in the docklands and city need to stay open on the weekends
